As your searches partner, HWC Searches works to ensure that we offer relevant training from industry experts to help you stay up-to-date with current issues and regulations. We are the only SRA accredited providers of CPD training on the subject of Local Land Charges and have been successfully running free seminars for solicitors and conveyancers since 2008.
We realise that each office works in a different way, so we have developed three modes of training to make it accessible to all of our clients, big or small.
Throughout the year we offer hour long webinars on a variety of topics. We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to leave the office for training, so we bring it straight to your desktop. Previous topics have included Energy Infrastructure & Planning Impacts and Transparency & Disclosure Regulations.
These exclusive events are free to our clients and offer one CPD points for each webinar.
Several times a year we organise morning seminars for our clients, offering the chance to network and speak directly with experts – as well as enjoying a hearty lunch! Past venues including Marwell Zoo, The Ageas Bowl, and Chichester Festival Theatre.
We have previously welcomed Planning, Building Control and S106 and CIL officers from local Councils, gained official advise from HMLR and heard from a wide array of experts, from arboriculturalists to septic tank engineers.
These exclusive events are free to our clients and offer three CPD points for each morning.
We like to ensure that all of our clients are catered to, so if you are unable to attend our events, we are happy to come to you. We can bring along experts to discuss their field with your full staff in the comfort of your own office.
This service is reserved for our clients only and can be arranged on request.
Perhaps have a new member of staff who wants to learn more about searches, or an existing colleague who wishes to expand their understanding of the various issues – we can provide free training at a time and venue to suit you.
Our CPD programme is just one of the ways we like to show our appreciation to our clients, so we choose topics from their suggestions to make sure our events are relevant and worthwhile of time away from their cases. Please click here to see a sample of previous events.
If you would like to find out more, or if you have a topic that you would like to hear about, be sure to email Sara with your questions and suggestions. Alternatively, please use the contact form and we will get back to you shortly.
